How is DORMA structured?

DORMA is straight on the path of becoming a global company. In order to keep this process going, DORMA has also adapted its corporate structure to successfully face the world market.
The new organization reflects our growth strategy; essence is based on flexibility and adaptability to customer demands.
The organization comprises four basic corporate levels: the holding company - in charge of strategy management - and three divisions: DOOR CONTROL, AUTOMATIC and GLASS.

The Door Control division includes access control units for doors, handles, locks and panic hardware. These products can be found in home centers and hardware stores in general. They are products that are known worldwide and specified by engineers and architects. This grants DORMA an international image as a high quality, high-tech products industry.

The Automatics division is an important source of growth. DORMA entered into the automatics market in the 1970’s and currently offers a comprehensive range of sliding, swing and revolving doors, besides automatically operated sliding glass panel partitions. DORMA has become number one in the automation sector.

The Glas division focuses on the development and manufacture of furniture and fittings for glass doors and assemblies, decorative and structural glass systems. Technology-wise, DORMA is number one worldwide in tempered glass accessories.
